This Isn't Just Another Christmas Quilt!
It's 12 Event Days of Christmas Quilting, Surprises, Friendship, and a Little Holiday Magic!
Quilt the Season 2026: Coming Home for Christmas
There's just something about coming home for Christmas.
The twinkling lights. The familiar decorations. The memories. The traditions. And that wonderful feeling of being exactly where you belong.
This year, we're bringing all of that warmth and nostalgia into our sewing rooms with an entirely NEW Quilt the Season experience!
Beginning November 4, we're celebrating 12 event days of Christmas quilting, creativity, friendship, and surprises!
And I've got something extra special planned!
A quick note before we begin: Quilt the Season also offers a FREE way to participate! Free participants can collect our individual daily Christmas quilt block patterns and use them to create their own holiday projects. The complete Coming Home for Christmas quilt layout, assembly, and finishing instructions are part of our optional paid Holiday Magic experience. You'll find a complete comparison of both options below.

Imagine the excitement of Christmas morning, when there are beautifully wrapped presents under the tree and you can't wait to discover what's inside.
That's exactly the feeling I want you to have with Holiday Magic!
We aren't going to stop with making a beautiful Christmas quilt.
I've tucked something special into every release!
There will be exclusive patterns, creative projects, additional quilting instruction, and some wonderful little Christmas surprises along the way.
And here's the fun part...
I'm not telling you everything that's inside!
Some surprises might find their way into your kitchen. Others might make a cozy addition to your home or bedroom. There may be something for gift-giving, and perhaps even something to keep your toes warm!
Some will be practical. Some will be beautiful. And some will be just plain FUN!
I want you to experience that little spark of Christmas-morning excitement when you wonder...
"What has Mary got for us today?"
And believe me, I've been having an absolute BALL putting it all together!
Here's What Makes Holiday Magic So Special!
The COMPLETE Coming Home for Christmas Quilt!
At the heart of our celebration is a beautiful new Christmas mystery quilt.
With each new release, we'll discover another piece of our Christmas quilting adventure. And little by little, we'll watch our mystery unfold!
Holiday Magic participants receive the complete collection of patterns, the quilt layout, and the final assembly and finishing instructions needed to bring our featured Christmas quilt together.
And here's something you're really going to appreciate...
Everything is delivered automatically!
Your Holiday Magic materials come directly to you by email as they're released, and they're kept together in your participant library.
No daily codes to collect. No deadlines to chase. No worrying that you missed a pattern!
Just enjoy the excitement of each new release and quilt along at your own pace.
"This Holiday Magic is my first quilting class ever and I loved it… Mary, my heartfelt thanks for your thorough, detailed instructions and videos. They are magical."
— Vinni R., Holiday Magic 2025
Even MORE Quilting with Mary!
You know how I love sharing little tips and techniques that make quilting easier!
With Holiday Magic, you'll receive additional video instruction from me to help you along the way.
And we're not stopping with the featured Christmas quilt!
You'll also receive SIX fully instructed additional projects!
These special projects will show you creative new ways to use the pieces you're making, giving you even more possibilities for Christmas decorating, gift-giving, and enjoying your holiday fabrics.
Because I can never seem to stop at just the quilt!
"Prior to Mary's Holiday Magic program and instructions, I would literally run and hide from any mention of 'paper piecing'… I won't be running and hiding anymore!"
— Lara Y., Holiday Magic 2025
Special Christmas Surprises!
What's Christmas without a few surprises?
I've been planning some wonderful extras to share with our Holiday Magic participants.
Some will inspire you. Some will make you smile. And a few might even have you wondering what I've been up to!
But I'm keeping those details tucked away until it's time to unwrap them.
After all, Christmas wouldn't be nearly as much fun if we already knew what was under the tree!
Your Very Own Christmas Quilter's Hideaway!
Sometimes the most wonderful part of Christmas is finding a quiet moment to enjoy it.
That's why I've created something especially cozy for our Holiday Magic participants.
Imagine escaping to a beautiful Christmas quilting cottage, complete with a glowing fireplace, gently falling snow, twinkling Christmas lights, and peaceful holiday music.
Our Christmas Quilter's Hideaways are special animated Christmas scenes that you can enjoy while preparing your fabrics, cutting your pieces, or sewing along.
They include music and cozy ambient sounds and play continuously, so you can enjoy them for as long as you'd like!
Put your Hideaway on full screen, enjoy the music, or mute it and listen to your own favorite Christmas playlist.
And be sure to look closely! I've tucked a few familiar Joyful and Merry surprises into the scenes. You just might recognize a certain little dog, a favorite coffee mug, and some special quilting touches!
Your first Hideaway is waiting for you right now, and more are on the way!
Welcome to the Merry Makers Circle!
One of the things I love most about quilting is the friendships we make along the way.
And Christmas is always more fun when we share it with friends!
That's why Holiday Magic includes access to our private Merry Makers Circle, a special gathering place just for our participants.
Think of it as our very own little Christmas quilting neighborhood!
It works much like Facebook, but it's private and completely free of ads.
Share pictures of your projects, ask questions, celebrate your progress, encourage one another, and get to know other quilters from around the world.
Whether you're a seasoned quilter or just beginning your quilting journey, there's a place for you here!
"To me the Magic of this Holiday quilt-a-long is the community… what makes Mary's program different is the getting together on a daily basis."
— Leslie L., Holiday Magic 2025

A Little Something from Mary...
You know, I don't think any of us really needs another quilting project!
If you're anything like me, you've already got enough fabric and projects to keep you busy for quite a while.
But that's not really why we quilt, is it?
We quilt because we love creating something beautiful with our hands.
We quilt because a little piece of fabric can hold a whole lot of memories.
We quilt because of the friendships, the laughter, the excitement of learning something new, and the joy of giving something we've made.
And at Christmas, somehow all of those things seem even more special.
That's what I want Quilt the Season 2026 to be.
Not just another project to finish.
But something you look forward to each day.
A reason to sit down at your sewing machine with a smile.
A little time set aside just for YOU during one of the busiest seasons of the year.
And perhaps, when you pull out your finished Christmas quilt in years to come, you'll remember not just the fabrics and stitches, but the wonderful time we had making it together.
That's the kind of Holiday Magic I want to share with you!
